Atlanta University Center Neighborhood Association is a not-for-profit organization representing the four Atlanta University Center schools and colleges (Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morehouse School of Medicine), the campuses of Morris Brown College and Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), residents, businesses and faith-based organizations in the area, bound by Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on the north, Joseph Lowery Blvd on the west, Northside Drive on the east and on the south, by I-20.

We Enlist Stakeholders
AUCNA membership enlists a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
Qualification as a stakeholder, is guaranteed, but not limited to all persons living, working and conducting business within the boundaries of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive on the north, Joseph Lowery Boulevard on the west, and Northside Drive on the east and on the south, by I-20. We work to achieve common goals.
We Align With NPU - T
Our policy agenda is consistent with that of NPU-T; among them, sustainable neighborhoods, resident-driven public safety, youth development and certainly, excellence in education. We strongly support increased civic engagement concerning zoning, planning and land use issues impacting the AUC corridor.You can expect participation in the AUCNA to be an experience in raising issues, airing ideas and making recommendations.

The AUCNA partners with all types of community stakeholders including students and faculty of Morehouse, Spelman, Clark-Atlanta, AUC Consortium, Oasis at Scholar’s Landing, GTrans LC, Veranda at Scholar’s Landing, Westside Community Alliance, Acuity National LLC, Residents and Associations of Ashview Heights, Vine City, English Avenue, Faith-based Institutions, and People United Foundation (PUF) just to name a few.
The AUCNA became an official neighborhood association under the City of Atlanta’s Neighborhood Planning Unit system in September of 2009. It consists of the four Atlanta University Center schools and colleges (Spelman College, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morehouse School of Medicine), the campuses of Morris Brown College and Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC), residents, businesses, and faith-based organizations in the area.

Together, we have provided leadership capacity building to neighborhood businesses and organizations, by building a neighborhood association that serves as the focal point of community engagement. Providing this outlet for the community gives residents networking opportunities, access to information and resources, personal recognition, skill enhancement, and a sense of contribution and helpfulness in solving community problems. The association has served as a platform for sharing information and other impactful pieces of information which, in turn has empowered neighborhood business owners to not only be more financially competent but also how to maintain and grow their businesses, and how to increase engagement in the community.

They help create a clear vision, mission, and values for the organization and ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals. A good leadership team also creates a positive and productive work culture where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute their best.

Lyndon Greene
Lyndon Greene is a volunteer leader who is responsible for representing and advocating for the residents of the Atlanta University Center neighborhoods. Freeman works diligently with team members to build a sense of community and improve the quality of life for residents by organizing events, addressing community concerns, and communicating with local government officials.

Treasure & Finance Chairman
Eric Miller
Eric Miller is responsible for managing the organization's financial resources. This includes tasks such as creating and implementing a financial strategy, managing cash flow, preparing budgets, and tracking expenses. The treasurer also ensures that financial reports are accurate and timely and that the organization is in compliance with all financial regulations.
